Recall date: Published:

Reviewed and published by MPB Safety Desk

Hazard

A child seat that does not maintain proper recline position may not adequately secure a child in a crash, increasing the risk of injury. Additionally, should another passenger put their hand in the recline mechanism when it shifts out of position, their risk of injury is increased.

What parents need to know

Evenflo Company, Inc. is recalling certain All4One child seats.

The adjustable recline mechanism in these child seats, when in rear-facing mode, may shift out of its proper position. This can mean the seat does not adequately secure a child during a crash, increasing the risk of injury. There is also a risk of injury to another passenger if their hand is in the recline mechanism when it shifts.

Evenflo will replace the affected child seats free of charge. Check the official recall notice for the model numbers involved and follow Evenflo's instructions for the replacement.
