What parents need to know

This recall involves BUILT-branded LUUM collection light-up tumblers. These plastic drinking cups, available in various holiday themes, feature a lid and straw, and contain a bottom compartment with an LED light powered by a button cell battery.

The tumblers can break, which can expose the small button cell batteries. If a child gains access to these batteries, there is a risk of choking or ingestion. Swallowed button cell batteries can cause serious internal injuries, chemical burns, and can be fatal. Lifetime Brands has received one report of a child gaining access to a tumbler's button cell battery and putting it in the mouth. No injuries have been reported.

If you own one of these tumblers, please stop using it immediately and keep it out of reach of children. It is important to properly dispose of the battery according to local hazardous waste procedures. Please refer to the full recall notice for detailed instructions on how to receive a refund.
