Little Loves & Co. Recalls Youth Clothing with Drawstrings Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death from Entrapment Hazard
Reviewed and published by MPB Safety Desk
Hazard
The drawstrings in the recalled clothing can get caught on objects and cause death or serious injury to children due to an entrapment hazard.

What parents need to know
Little Loves & Co. has recalled youth daywear sets and boy short sets that have drawstrings at the waist. The daywear sets included a crew neck shirt paired with joggers, and the boy short sets included a short sleeve shirt paired with shorts. These were sold in a range of children's sizes, in a variety of colors and collage style designs.
The clothing is being recalled because the waist drawstrings can get caught on objects, which creates an entrapment hazard. This can lead to serious injury or death for a child wearing the garment.
Parents and caregivers should take the recalled clothing away from children right away. To get a refund, contact Little Loves & Co. to receive a pre-paid shipping label, then return the garment. Once the company receives the returned item, a refund will be issued. If you would rather keep the garment, you can cut and remove the drawstring instead of returning it.
To check whether a specific item is included, look at the model number and date code printed on the neck tag and compare it to the official recall notice, which lists the affected model numbers and date codes.
