This recall involves Macardac baby loungers. These loungers are made of a foam sleeping pad with padded bumpers and a cloth cover, featuring a buckle at one end. They were available in blue, brown, brown leaves, and pink flower colors and prints, with "Macardac" printed on an attached tag.
The loungers have been recalled because they violate the mandatory safety standard for infant sleep products. The sides are not high enough to keep an infant contained, and openings at the foot of the lounger are wider than permitted. These design flaws create risks of entrapment and falls.
