This recall involves Alanca-branded 6-Drawer Wood Dressers, sold in brown and white with six drawers.
These dressers are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall, which creates tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in serious injury or death to children. The dressers do not meet the mandatory safety standards required under the STURDY Act.
If you have one of these dressers and it is not anchored to the wall, stop using it immediately and place it in an area that children cannot access. Contact Nanjing Wu Hai Smart Home for a full refund. As part of the recall process, consumers will be asked to write “RECALLED” in permanent marker on the top, front and sides of the dresser, remove all drawers, and send photos of the marked and disassembled dresser as instructed by the company.
