What parents need to know
This recall involves ONTHEWEI-branded baby bath seats, sold in gray, pink, blue and mist green, with detachable restraint arms and suction cups on the underside.
The bath seats were recalled because they violate the mandatory standard for infant bath seats. They are unstable and can tip over while in use, which poses a risk of serious injury or death due to drowning.
Parents should stop using the recalled bath seat immediately. Contact ONTHEWEI for a full refund. As part of the process, consumers will be asked to destroy the bath seat by writing “RECALLED” in permanent marker on the front of the seat, disassembling it by removing the back rest and arm restraints, and cutting the three suction cups on the underside of the seat. Then send a photo of the destroyed bath seat showing the marked product to the address given in the official recall notice. After that, dispose of the product.

- Consumers should stop using the recalled bath seats immediately and contact ONTHEWEI for a full refund.
