The TooyBing Wooden Bead Stacking Toy is a wooden set made up of colorful beads, wood sticks with string laces, pattern cards, and a wooden pegged stand, marketed as a Montessori-style bead sequencing game. It was recalled because it is intended for children under three years old, yet it violates the small parts ban, meaning it contains pieces small enough to pose a deadly choking hazard to young children.
For families, this means the wooden beads and related small pieces present a serious choking risk to babies and toddlers who may put them in their mouths. Any child in the under-three age range this toy is marketed to could be affected.
Parents should stop using the toy immediately and keep it away from children. Contact TooyBing to arrange a free replacement. As part of the process, consumers will be asked to destroy the toy by cutting the red and yellow string laces and writing "RECALLED" in permanent marker on the top of the wooden pegged stand, then sending a photo of the destroyed toy to the address provided in the official notice. After that, the destroyed product should be disposed of. Replacement toys that meet safety requirements are expected to become available later, and consumers will need to register in order to receive one once it is ready.

Consumers will be asked to destroy the toys by cutting the red and yellow string laces, writing in permanent marker "RECALLED" on the top of the wooden pegged stand and send a photo of the destroyed toy to [email protected]. Consumers should then dispose of the destroyed product. Compliant replacement toys will not be available until October, and consumers will be asked to register for the replacement. The multicolored toys consist of 25 pink, blue, red, orange, purple, green, white and yellow wooden beads, two wood sticks with yellow and red string laces attached, eight pattern cards and one wooden pegged stand. "TooyBing," "Montessori Wooden Toy" and "Fun Bead Sequencing Games" are printed on the front of the product packaging and "Model number: TB-MZWJ" is on the back.
