Hazard

The recalled youth ATVs violate the mandatory safety standard for ATVs because they are missing brake lights, reducing visibility of the youth ATV to other vehicles, posing a deadly crash hazard.

What parents need to know

Yamazuki is recalling certain electric youth all-terrain vehicles (ATVs). These ATVs were sold in blue, green, orange, and pink.

The reason for this recall is that the ATVs are missing brake lights. This omission violates a mandatory safety standard and reduces the visibility of the ATV to other vehicles, creating a risk of serious injury or death from a crash.

If you own one of these ATVs, please stop using it immediately. You should consult the official recall notice for detailed instructions on how to obtain a free repair kit from Yamazuki to address this safety issue.
